It has been awhile since I last posted. I don't feel terrible about it, though, as alot of my friends have also been lax on new posts, also. So here is a quick rundown...
Brody turned 2 in September and we had a little family get-together at the house for him. My friend, Amy, made the most incredible Thomas the Train cake for him. Brody talked about it for a month! Here he is waiting so patiently to blow the candles out while we sing to him.
In September, I closed on a little piece of property I like to call "mine." Well....I guess the bank owns it. I just get to live there for a nice yearly payment! Brody and I are thrilled to be off the highway and right in the middle of all our family. We have 20 acres to ourselves and the best neighbors ever!
Brody was a scarecrow at Halloween this year and had a blast!
This is what happens when you tell your boss you are snowed in for a second day. The state highway crews refused to run their V-plow down the blacktop in front of my house, so my boss and his dad scooped me and all my neighbors out.
Headed to a neighbor's house just south of me. The county V-plow made it through this. About 1/4 mile further, it was another 2-3 feet taller.
